"Room and free food were a touch basic and 100% satisfactory (coffee, tea, water, milk; bread, packaged croissants, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, jams, cereal). Right on the mark for the price. Location is close to local grocery options, but a hearty walk to old town activity or the beach. I did the walk each day, but some may prefer a ride or bus."

"Flor de Esteva was more than great. If you have the chance to book the room with the yard, it’s definitely worth the few extra dollars. All around perfect location if you’re looking to visit Sagres."

"The room was amazing: clean, spacious, and had a balcony with perfect views of the ocean and the pool area. Breakfast was typical and satisfying. I would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"Good location near the beach. Clean and quiet.. Property managers were helpful and knowledgeable.
Wonderful breakfast at the sister hotel with a large variety of items.. 10 minute walk to get there.
To note: there is a tear down building attached to the property. If you do not want to see this building, make sure you are clear where your room faces."
"Touring Portugal with my elderly mother is difficult with all the cobblestone roads but this hotel was kind enough to loan us a wheelchair to help make it easier for us to explore nearby places. Do not leave without doing one of the boat tours. The smaller the better to go into the caves!"
"Love this hotel!! Friendly and helpful service! Room was clean, spacious comfortable! Breakfast buffet had great variety of food! We enjoyed our stay! We will return again this summer!"
"Loved this hotel! The hotel was very clean from the reception, to the restaurant, the pool and the rooms. The reception was very helpful and kind when we came in and even helped us find a nail tech for my sister who didn’t get her nails done before we got here! Our rooms were clean and tidy, the bathroom is a good size with a good shower. They come with shampoo/shower gel, conditioner, and body lotion (not the best smelling but not bad). They also have an amenities kit with a nail file and shower cap (nail file was very useful). We had a pool view room and it was a nice sized balcony. We needed an iron and scissors and the reception very quickly came up to give them to us. We even asked for a hairdryer and they brought us a nice con air dryer (there’s one in the room but it isn’t the strongest). There’s a good full size mirror in the room too which is so helpful when you’re 2 girls getting ready to go out. We also had dinner at the restaurant and we got pizza and arancini. The arancini was DELICIOUS and the pizza was good too. All in all we had a great experience here. Only thing I would say is that it’s a little away from the old town. It’s a 4-5 min uber but it’s a 25 min walk to the town so just be aware of that. But the walk is accessible and not too uphill/downhill. Would definitely come back to this hotel!!"
"The staff was so nice, especially the reception guy, breakfast was good, they refilled it all morning so nothing was empty by 10:30, they have fruits, pastries, cereals, yogurt, bread and more, it’s a good 10/10. The room is clean, the bathroom too and they cleaned it everyday. There is no fridge or microwave in the room but you can leave your things in the reception fridge and also ask to use there microwave. Would definitely recommend! Good price, good location and clean!"
"EXCELLENT hotel!! Very clean, comfortable rooms w/mini refrigerator and great air conditioning! Praia Dona Ana (a beautiful beach) is right below. There are restrooms, life guards, beach chairs and umbrella rentals, and a nice restaurant serving reasonably priced food and drinks there. Several steps to the beach but doable. Cash only at the beach. There is an ATM for euros next to the hotel. The hotel has a nice restaurant w/an amazing view of the ocean. It is a bit pricey for lunch & dinner. The same restaurant serves a free, delicious buffet breakfast to guests (I believe it's 15 euros for non guests). There is a quiet rooftop bar w/a simple food menu (pizza, bugers, etc.), and a few steps up is a refreshing swimming pool. There's a little store next to the hotel selling snacks, water, drinks, beach accessories, etc. Also, across the parking lot is a great walking trail w/beautiful views. The staff was friendly & helpful. The maintenance crew kept the hotel clean. The hallways alway had a fresh/clean smell. There ARE elevators. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel and would definitely return if we headed back to Lagos. Tips: Get an International cell phone ad-on & load Uber onto your phone as taxis are not readily available, and Uber was extremely reliable and inexpensive. The town of Lagos is probably a 20 minute walk but a tough walk w/all the hills. A quick Uber, no matter your age, is recommended as you'll do a lot of walking in town and along the marina. Wonderful hotel!!"
