"I stay here everytime i come to Abbotsford, the rooms are great, the staff are excellent and the free breakfast is so good"

"My family (Great Great Grandparents onward) have been enjoying this hotel since the 1890’s. I expect nostalgia and old charm. What I did not expect is lack of customer service. It was explained to me (by staff) that my demographic is aging out, 50yrs plus. Technology and modern expectations are the priority. Cheap shows no matter one’s age. All eyes see the same. Details matter to any one with class. "

"Beautiful spot. Jason is fantastic and advised us of a live concert taking place on site the night we stayed there and helped us get tickets even after it was sold out. The event was great and made for a very memorable stay. "

"Parking was convenient and free, which was a great bonus. While I’m not certain how secure the lot is, we didn’t experience any issues during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool or hot tub, so I can’t comment on those amenities. However, the room itself could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as it didn’t appear to have been properly vacuumed. The biggest downside was the bathroom, the shower pressure was very weak, and the bathtub drain was extremely slow, which made for an unpleasant experience standing in pooled water. Overall, a decent stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and bathroom maintenance."

"Enjoyed our interactions with 24 hour staff. Rooms were clean and neat. Property was well maintained. There was a smoking area for smokers. Water pressure in the shower was a little weak, but adequate. Breakfast was sparse, but adequate."
