Fantastic

Very nice place to stay. Safe, quiet and clean. It’s has nice kitchen, good size refrigerator and oven so we can cook some meals instead to go out every day. We will definitely stay there again for next trip to Tahoe.

Favorite place to stay

I’ve stayed at different places in the area in previous years, but the Lodge is hands-down, the only place I stay when visiting Tahoe. Their excellent customer service and the effort they place to maintain the facilities is unparalleled. The staff is always responsive to requests and ensure the guests are enjoying their stay.

Beautiful unit but no air conditioner.

Great location, very clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Be aware that there is NO air conditioning in any of the units so it gets very stuffy during the day and uncomfortable in the bedroom. We had to keep the sliding door open the entire stay and used 4 fans to get any air flow. Luckily, the weather was cool at night but during the day, the unit was still hot.

The beds are not comfortable. The sofa bed is good as a sofa but very noisy and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The actual bed was smaller than a queen and not easy to sleep 2 people. Also it was inna very small room that did not feel great to sleep in.

No AC!!

The one con it has.... which can be a big one is that the whole place doesn't have AC! If your room is facing the back then your room will get hot cuz there's no breeze nor windows for air to circulate through... so the heat just sits.... the ceiling fans and fans they give you don't do much.

Don’t ask to use the hot tub!

The accommodations and location were great. However, in order to use the hot tub you have to get the front office staff to let you in. The key pad was disabled. The hot tub has very limited hours 10am-7pm. During my stay, the office staff member was extremely rude and put out that I wanted to use the hot tub. I asked her how her day was going and she said fine unless someone wants to use the hot tub. She unlocked the hot tub room and stood at the door and directed me to shower down the hall before entering the hot tub. I was in my bathing suit and told her I already showered upstairs before I came down. She was so rude and dismissive so I went down the hallway to shower, and when I came back, she said you’re not going to be able to use the hot tub today . I’ve never been treated so rudely, she locked me out of the hot tub while I stood in my bathing suit in the lobby, , luckily someone from housekeeping came by and let me retrieve my belongings. I was a guest at the property for six nights and this encounter really ruined my vacation.I tried to get the woman’s name but she refused to provide it

This is our go to when we are in town. Clean, quiet, comfortable with everything we could possibly need. Not really walking distance to downtown but a very short drive and walking distance to a great park that leads all the way down to the lake, if your adventurous, and definitely walking distance to a few good restaurants.

It is very clean building inside and out. The surroundings outside the property very cozy and in the nature surrounded by the forest. Lobby of the hotel is very nicely decorated and very welcoming. Inside the units all to your comfort. Very happy with the experience.
