"We only stayed one night in a small double room at this property, but the room was quite adequate and the bathroom was especially wonderful--great shower, good lighting, recently remodeled. It is also located in a nice neighborhood, with several good restaurants and coffee shops close-by, and a reasonable walk (about a mile) to the Royal Mile."

"I stayed in a single room and shared bathroom. The view into the garden was a great way to wake up. No complaints! The only issue I had was that the walls are thin and the people next to me were not concerned with waking others. Their shower pipes ran the wall next to my head while I was sleeping. They showered late at night. Other than that the staff was amazing, the Scottish music was phenomenal, and breakfast was a great start to my day. Thank you Averon Guest House for making my visit even...
