"The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the facilities were quite dated. the lights in the room did not all work, and some guests smoked on my floor even though it was ot allowed."

"Always our favorite place to stay in New Hope--we especially love the pool and all of the outside lounging areas!"

"Stay was great until we tried to check out of the breakfast buffet which was was paid for on Expedia. The staff argued that we didn’t pay and we couldn’t see it separated on the Expedia receipt. We later found it in another page on Expedia after they charged us for the breakfast again. Now I have to spend time disputing the charge, which is inconvenient and annoying."

"The beds were comfortable. The room was enormous and the location was excellent although very noisy at night because of traffic. Several things about the hotel are quite rundown. The curtains didn’t open or close properly because they caught on the tracks so my husband had to climb up and sort them night and morning for four days. The bath had considerable limescale staining and the shower temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The worst thing was how cold the room was. Apparently this was because the hotel heating was in summer mode so the room could only be cool and not heated. We were freezing in there most of the time and it took till our final (4th) night for the hotel staff to bring a heater to us. Coffee and tea facilities in the room were not replenished and when we asked they didn’t arrive or we had to wait a very long time. By the final night we were quite miserable so the hotel did say they would refund us for our final night. So far we haven’t received any of this money despite departing a week ago."

"This place is very beautiful however, the food was overly salty, when I went to take a bath there wasn’t any soap available and there wasn’t a pool available."

"Room is huge, so is massive soaker tub that was amazing. Only somewhat down side is bed is hard and breakfast really isn’t breakfast, it’s snacks to go but appreciated, better than nothing. Check in easy, lots of parking near room, felt very safe there."

"Could not check in on time, staff was rude and unhelpful. I had to call expedia to get my room 3 hours late. Bartenders were great."
