"None of the listed amenities actually exist. No pool. No spa. Horrible location way out on the edge of town. On the positive side, the girl at the front desk was very helpful. She helped me get a train ticket out of Lao Cai. I was going to stay three nights but left after one. Also the bed was nice and comfortable after a few weeks of hard traveling. "The hotel needs a makeover! The pictures profiled are not current as the hotel is quite run down. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, there was a big gap above the door out to the balcony, the shower had no drain so the water ran from the shower across the bathroom to a hole in the floor by the toilet. You could hear the people in the rooms adjacent and also anyone in the hallway. On a side note the hotel is set back from the main road so it dampened the street noise somewhat. I am sure back in the day it was a lovely hotel but it needs some work to return the grandeur. "
