The rooms are clean and they have a wonderful breakfast spread. The owner was really helpful - she helped us to call up our tour company to arrange for a closer pick up and drove us to the pick up point in her own car because it was snowing when we checked out.

Panoramic ocean view suite is super spacious, located at 20th floor with unblocked spectacular view of Atlantic ocean. We're lucky to view northern light from comfort of my room as we didn't catch one during our aurora tour the night before. Hotel staff helped tailor our trip and took care of our requirements even before our stay. They responded to our email almost instantly every time we emailed our requests. Clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need for cooking and laundry. It feels like home for our family with a teenager and kid. Everything is just a few minutes drive away. Access to the rooms is also convenient. Thank you for the pleasant stay, highly recommended!

The hotel was a short walk to the seaside and was nice to take a stroll there to try to get away from the city lights. We could walk to the city centre using the Laugavegur street but a taking a bus was faster. The hotel was accessible as it was a pick-up or drop-off location for many tours, which was great.

Located a few steps away from one end of the main street and near a foodhall. A Netto supermarket is also nearby

Room was small but efficient. Hot shower, warm and cosy. Good sleep for non-fussy guests.

Room is exactly what we needed with simple but modern bedding which is super comfy (we fell asleep as soon as we have settled down! 😄). Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities are in good working condition. Bathrooms are sufficient in the apartment to be shared among all. Wifi works strongly throughout. There’s a 10-11 opposite which is 24hrs. However, slightly away from city centre. We only decide to choose this location since we are driving. Overall, was worth the price paid.

Quite noisy (street noise from vehicle) Better pillow recommended.

Rooms assigned was not at the main building with reception, however the view from our room is stunning, facing towards the glacier opposite and with the balcony, we are able to spot the Aurora right from our room! They provide free milk, juice and corn flakes, together with cooking utensils, very thoughtful, not to mention the self service laundromat that help us bringing lesser things

Central and quiet . Really lovely vibe.

Awesome stayed for three nights. The room is spacious . The shower head water pressure is too low. The car park is limited . Even though they have a free parking behind the hotel, but always FULL! Anyway, we had enjoyed our stay in Midgardur by Center Hotels.

Walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Lovely staff and i enjoyed the bread, freshly bake! Big counter space at the bathroom :) Lack of power outlet to charge devices :(
