We found our room for 3 very comfortable,clean and great location. Great view from window and so quiet. Check-in was straight forward and staff lovely. Breakfast was very good and we have no complaints overall.

La Mère Poulard is the best hotel in Mt. Saint Michel. The Bay view room in the old historic building is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and has a renovated bathroom. Breakfast is good but the restaurant is in other building located 200 meters and 100 stair steps from the rooms (in Mt. Saint Michel all streets have lots of stairs but distances are quite short. I spend two nights with my wife and enjoyed the visit very much.

Mont Saint Michel is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth staying on island. My problem with the hotel was that the room I thought I booked based on the photo in the Expedia add was not to room we received. In the photo a double room in the Marie Pollard house had two large windows with views and fire place. Our room was in the attic, four stories up and then more stairs within the room. We had two rooftop windows with nice views but small and in the ceiling. Small bedroom space with zero character. We were given our key at check in and once we arrived to the room found it had still yet to be cleaned by the cleaning staff. Overall not at all impressed with the room, dated and our bathroom had a shower with no window covering so felt very exposed. Breakfast was nice.

Amazing spot right on the mount. However, staff is not available once you check in and minimal information is provided other than directions and where to eat breakfast. The double room is one full size bed which is not super comfy, but fine for one night. The breakfast is fabulous and so were the views from our room.

Beautiful room in a perfect location. Mont Saint-Michel is very touristic, but staying on the island for the night helps you avoid the crowd at night. The only area for improvement would be the check-in process. You have to check-in at Le Relais outside the island, and then again on the island next to the hotel. So it's a lot of back and forth before you're able to get into your room.

The property is very conveniently located and in an interesting area. The rooms are clean but we had numerous flies. Not sure where they all came from but there were a lot! Other than that, we couldn’t have been happier. Very cool location, the breakfast was incredible and the staff was awesome helping us figure out how to get there. It is a little confusing at first but makes sense once you figure it out.

The rooms were beautiful and mostly clean, one of our rooms had a mildew smell abut kind of expected given the location. It's incredible to me there even is running water or electricity. Breakfast was great, fun to be staying right there, but be prepared for many many stairs.

Excellent location, with a view that is close to unbeatable. Had to wait about 40 minutes after check-in as the room was not quite ready yet (they were very busy that day). Otherwise, we had a really great room, and experience!
