I stayed here for about a week and it was great because it was so close to everything I needed. I hire a scooter to get around so that helps but given it's location - it was a nice place to stay. The staff were of course excellent and the place was looked after.

The mercure Legian is very much in the heart of this area with lots of shops and eateries around you. The rooms are kept clean an the service in the restaurants and to the pools is very good. Staff are friendly and always help with a smile. The manager is always in the hotel and interacts with the guests asking about how they are and if they are being served well. There is a good breakfast option , all you can eat , for 125k when I was there per day. The restaurant food is well done and caters for both local and international tastes. You can get to the beach for about 50k using the bluebird taxis. The 4th pool is kept nice and clean and is an ideal spot for sun worshippers.
