"This was a wonderful stay in a beautiful building and grounds. We stayed in ‘The Princess’s Room’ which is glorious. Full length embroidered silk curtains and lovely feature detailing. It is not the room to choose if you want a ‘normal’ easy access shower; it’s original 1920’s fittings are a very large enamel bath (good for two) and a hand held only shower head. The room has been beautifully restored and its 1920’s mosaic decoration is fabulous. (The other rooms have modern bathroom fittings...

"Stayed here as a family of 6 and honestly couldn’t fault it overall. The location is great - around 10 minutes’ drive into the walled city and harbour, about 7 minutes to the aquarium, plus loads of supermarkets, restaurants and shops nearby, so everything you need is within easy reach. We had our car with us and the free onsite parking was a massive win. Plenty of spaces, no circling the car park hoping for a miracle. We arrived pretty late but reception is open 24/7 and the welcome was still warm and friendly. Our room was gorgeous - spotlessly clean, super comfy beds, a lovely big bathroom and everything felt modern and well looked after. We visited during the 38-40°C heatwave, so the air conditioning deserves its own 5-star review… it made sleeping an absolute dream! The only little thing I’d have loved was complimentary bottled water in the room. In those temperatures it would’ve been a really nice touch. Breakfast was the only thing that didn’t quite hit the mark. It wasn’t bad, just pretty basic for the extra cost, so next time we’d save our money and grab breakfast elsewhere. Would we stay again? Absolutely. Stylish hotel, friendly staff, great parking, comfy rooms and an ideal base for exploring Saint-Malo. Easy recommendation from us."

"We love this hotel! Our room was quite large and comfortable. We had a full set of windows that let in light and air. The hotel is on a quiet small side street in the old city. The hotel also has good air conditioning which is a relief when the weather gets hot in the summer. The reception staff are helpful and professional."

"We enjoyed our stay. We had a superior cottage room which was very spacious although no real view from the balcony The spa pools were very well done but very busy - probably too busy. The weather was very hot so the pools were full not only with hotel guests but also spa guests. We ate in the fine dining restaurant and the crêperie ie the same small restaurant which has a different approach at lunchtime and in the evening. Both very good. The bar and terrace were also a lovely place to sit and have a drink The one thing which would discourage me from staying again was that the hotel just seemed too busy - large groups whether spa days or business groups. Other than the small restaurants it seemed to lack intimacy"
