Great Stay
Our stay was amazing. We really enjoyed the ease of check-in and the comfort of our room. The access to wine tasting and restaurants was also very convenient.

Lovely, picturesque castle that is now a hotel. Wonderful staff. Nice pool and spa area, although one sauna out of service. Few things could use updating and no elevator to the fourth floor, but great views of the vineyards. Close to drive to many nearby wineries. Not much in the city and not many restaurants open in January, but (limited) options at hotel bar and restaurant that are good.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is nice with a decent selection of items in the buffet and made to order. I was disappointed that some services were not available although they were advertised on the welcome screen. Food options are limited after breakfast. Also, the hotel still seems to be dealing with staffing shortages, sometimes the reception desk was not staffed, no help with bags when checking in or out.

What a beautifully restored building, every little detail is just right. Rosa on reception and Martin in restaurant Puricelli were lovely, as were all the staff. What a place, we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Pampered to the max
Just an incredible experience staying at this "castle resort". Every single staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated with the softest bed. We had breakfast and dinner on site which were delightful and satisfying. The spa amenities was a nice cherry on top...gym fully equipped, multiple sauna rooms each with a different temperature, and an infrared room for treatments. We had a good time.

Such a lovely place to stay. My only downside was for a 5* hotel I would have thought there would have been a porter at the entrance to help with the bags. The other issue was the breakfast wasn’t that good. It took 3 attempts and half hour to make a well done omelette. Not toast or bacon. The rest was fine

Th property is well maintained. The staff were warm and welcoming. The facility is exquisite! The room was simply Fabulous!! We felt like royalty as we walked through the halls, in the stairways and soaking in the great tub!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit enttäuschendem Management!
Sehr enttäuschend, obwohl wir Deluxe Zimmer gebucht und sogar telefonisch einen Geburtstag in der Familie angekündigt hatten. Trotz verschiedener Reklamationen (wie zB: unmögliche Nutzung der Sauna am Ankunftstag, wegen technischen Defekt oder fehlendem Sommerbettzeug etc.), wurde dies bei der Abreise in der Abrechnung nicht berücksichtigt. Das Schloss-Hotel selbst ist aufwendig und wunderschön restauriert. Dies zieht viele Touristen und Durchlaufverkehr an, die dort neben der Terrasse dann auch noch gerne eine Hotelbesichtigung verbinden. Oder einfach ohne Verzehr oder Anmeldung im ganzen Hotel umherlaufen. Im Aufzug gibt es keine Sicherheitsschaltung per Zimmerkarte. Jeder Außenstehende mag die Aufzüge zu allen Zimmern nutzen. Von daher, eher unzumutbar für Menschen, die solch ein Hotel aufsuchen, um ihre Privatsphäre zu genießen. Wir trafen selbst im 4. Stock, den wir bewohnten zweimal fremde Leute an, die sich die Bilder oder was auch sonst noch im Flur anschauten. Auf meine Frage, ob sie dort wohnen, sagte man uns, dass man sich nur mal umschauen wolle. An der Rezeption nur Achselzucken und der Verweis, dass man darauf achten wolle…Da es im obersten Stockwerk mit der dicken Winterdecke sehr heiss war, fragten wir 3 mal nach einer dünneren Sommerdecke. Diese wurde dann nach dem dritten Fragen gebracht- war aber eine Decke für 2 Personen.- Wir hatten explizit um zwei Einzeldecken gebeten. Am 3. Tage immer noch keine zweite Decke und auch bis Abreise nicht.

Mir hat das ganze Schlossfeeling super gefallen. Die Auswahl an Kosmetikbehandlungen und Massagen war gut. Das Personal war auch überwiegend freundlich. Was mir gar nicht gut gefallen hat, ist, dass ich in einem Zimmer war, von dem aus man ungefähr alles von den Fluren mitbekommen hat und von draußen auch. Im Winter gibt es natürlich wenige bis gar keine Angebote, die man im Sommer auch nutzen könnte, wie z.B. Weinproben, Wandern etc.
