Al, Annette and Ginger were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The Loon room was very spacious and super comfortable. Would highly recommend the Gathering Place to anyone looking for a nice B&B in a quiet setting.

Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless, the bed the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Beautiful and quiet location. The owners are artists and their work in on display. This is the nicest place we have stayed on our trip - too bad we were on our way home and couldn't stay longer.

Very nice BnB, quiet and restful with a pretty well maintained yard with pond. Easy driving access to Bancroft for evening dining options. The breakfast blueberry pancakes and ginger rhubarb jam were both excellent.

We were welcomed by Al and Annette and their sweet girl Ginger who right away made us feel very comfortable. Our room was spacious, and very clean, the bed was extremely comfy and we enjoyed a very good restful sleep. Breakfast was delicious. A lovely cozy cabin type house nessled in the woods! The house is full of history and a must see for any nature loving enthusiast. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable in their home. We ate dinner in Bancroft at the local pub! If going up in the area again, it will be on our list of places to stay again!

We were looking at properties in the area and needed a place to stay overnight. Annette and Al were wonderful hosts and gave us the skinny on places to eat and nearby attractions. Not to mention that their property was gorgeous and a real treat to wake up in and go for a meander around the pond with a coffee.

This property and the owners are absolute gems. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating when we were running late for check in and still gave us a lovely tour so that we could settle in comfortably. The rooms are beautifully laid out and filled with thoughtful touches. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! If you are lucky enough to get to try Al's blueberry pancakes count your blessing because they are fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Al and Annette are super nice and friendly. Their place is exceptionally clean and the bed's very comfy. Al's home made omelette and toasts are unforgettable. We have planned to visit this place again in the summer for at least two nights. Highly recommend this B&B for everyone, lone travellers or families.
