Former Limpley Stoke station, from across Avon Valley. View westward, the railway being the ex-GWR Bath (to right) - (to left) Westbury secondary main line. In spite of appearances, the station was closed from 3/10/66: it has been restored, as a restaurant.

The Lakeside walk in the Newton Park campus of Bath Spa University is my favourite place to go between lectures. The natural beauty of this campus is one of the reasons I chose to apply to this university. I still find it crazy how quickly I can feel immersed in the great outdoors, whilst still being close to the university buildings. Filled with swans, ducks, herons and a 15th century tower across the lake, there is plenty to sit back and appreciate. #Trovember Photo Contest

Obviously the area is for the rich people to buy properties and extend them, let's hope not too many building regulations are passed, otherwise the beautiful place will be destroyed.

My only negative comment was that staff charged my card for the room when I'd prepaid. No issues with getting it refunded straightaway though.
