"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"Very nice property. Room clean and well maintained, breakfast was fantastic. Service exceptional, we were allowed to check in early, and checkout was painless. Would stay again if in the area. Only downside is no parking at the hotel, but there are (not free) car parks very close."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel and our room, especially for the price compared to nearby options. The location is perfect, right across from a ferry landing and bus stop. Very walkable to many of the city’s attractions as well. It is the tallest building in the area and our room had a lovely view of the river and city from the 14th floor. The room was spacious, bed was cosy and there was a deep tub with shower combo. There is a mini-safe, mini-fridge, tea kettle and Nespresso maker. Free water bottles, various teas and Nespresso capsules were provided. The room has A/C and blackout curtains as well. All of the staff were very helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Shaz at the front desk who allowed us to checkout a little late without charge after our brunch ran long due to an order mix-up. Would definitely stay again!"

"The room was okay and good value for the centre of Bristol - some TLC needed in the rooms - warn carpets, dirty window frames - just gave the feeling of being grubby. When looking our the window you are overlooked by other rooms and this showed more signs of improvements being necessary - lead flashing falling off the roof. We had one drink in the bar and fruit flies were very evident. Not a bad stay but not perfect - just a need for for investment and some TLC!"

"Overall Rating: Poor Great potential and friendly staff, but rooms desperately need an update. We stayed at the Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel on the 16th May. While the property has so much potential and the staff we interacted with were friendly enough, the room itself was incredibly disappointing. Our room was in desperate need of an update and had some clear maintenance and security issues. The bed was highly uncomfortable, and there was a four-way extension lead hidden away under the desk. The radiator thermostat was also completely broken, meaning the room was far too hot and we were forced to sleep with the windows open all night. Furthermore, the bedroom door did not close properly; we only realised upon checkout that it required a forceful, extra hard push to actually lock and secure it. The biggest issue, however, was the complete lack of privacy. There was no curtain or blind in the bathroom. At night, anyone in the house directly across the way could see exactly what you were up to, meaning we ended up having to use the bathroom in the dark. As for the food, the breakfast was just okay for a hotel breakfast. It certainly wasn't the worst we have ever had, but it really wasn't worth the extra charge. It is a real shame because the hotel has wonderful potential and the team members are pleasant, but the state and security of the accommodation really let our stay down."
