The property itself is very modern. I was ablw.to drop off my luggage at 8am but didnt check in until 3pm, which wasnt a problem because I had a walking tour scheduled that morning. I loved being in the middle of everything. I was able to walk everywhere. It was extremely in the area though. Be ready for that but i loved it.

The property is very centrally located to a lot but if you want to fine at non-touristy areas, you just have to walk 10-15 minutes. So it was perfect.

The location is excellent however it comes with the downside that the noise from the busy street below was easily heard in the room. It was particularly loud when the restaurants would bring their chairs in for the night around 11 pm and then back out again in the morning around 7am. The rooms are small but good enough for recovering from a day out exploring the city

It’s hard to believe this is labeled as 4 star. There's not a real front desk. It's more like a family run small hostel. It's clean, location is convenient, but the noise from the floor above, next room, and stairway are very loud.

This small boutique-style hotel was lovely. All front-of-house staff were welcoming, helpful, friendly and thoughtful. The room was very well-appointed and simple in design, the bed linen was fresh, and the bathroom facilities were unique and modern. The welcome gifts of traditional pastry, fresh coffee, a bottle of local wine and fresh bottled water were thoughtful touches. The new soundproof large windows made for a quiet night's sleep in the centre of Lisbon while letting in lots of light during the day. This was a great small hotel and we would book a stay here again when in Lisbon!

The service is excellent. They have attended to our request for transfer from and to the airport. Staff made recommendation for things to do based on what we want to see and experience. We loved the attention we received from Eugenia. Cleanliness is a 10.

Nice hotel and great location, but loud location first thing in the morning. Better values are out there for the same price (more amenities, 24 hr staff, elevator, etc). Overall a nice stay regardless

Lovely front desk staff. Renovations were messy. Having to carry bags up two flights of atairs was inconvenient and a 3pm checkin was also inconvenient with luggage.

Esqina Urban Lodge was a great stay during our time in Lisbon. We stayed for 8 days & the Esqina team were very kind and accommodating. It was right in between shopping centers, restaurants, an convenient stores so we were around everything we needed. Plus it was one street down from Rossio Square! Perfect location & stay for long travel

Lovely Hotel near Central Lisbon
A lovely stay for 5 nights. 5 minute walk from the main squares of Lisbon Staff were exceptionally friendly especially Tatiana who gave us lots of information when we arrived at reception. Adrielle and Bruno behind the hotel bar were also so friendly. The hotel is not 5 star but not necessary and it was such a great price for the week. It is very clean and very comfortable. If we returned Lisbon we would certainly go back to this hotel.

The unbeatable thing about Esqina Urban Lodge is the convenience of its location and how walkable it is to most places in Lisbon, especially, its 2-minute walk to Baixa-Chiado Station. It is in the center of the busy area but when you’re inside your hotel room, it is peaceful and quiet. The staffs are really helpful and accomodating, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. I think the only downside is the size of the room. We booked the Small Double room with city view. It is really compact which was expected. Good thing we only have 2 carry-on luggages with us. If you have bigger luggage, I suggest get a bigger room. Otherwise, everything was amazing and would definitely comw back.

The level of service towards customers to ensure a pleasant stay at the Esqina Urban Lodge is exceptional. From the moment of booking, the hotel was in touch to see if they could assist with making our stay enjoyable. This level of commitment continued from checking in until our departure. The room was very clean and in good condition with spacious bathroom. Hotel located in very convenient position for enjoying cultural attractions of Lisbon. My only comment about the room is maybe some amenities, such as hair driers (at least in my room) was a bit old so it looked a bit torn out or dirty, which was not, but it gave that feeling. Other than that, really good hotel for someone who wants to explore the city and just use the hotel for resting and sleeping. Would definitely come back.

I stayed here for my solo trip to Lisboa. I had the best time, hotel is in the middle of shops and restaurants. I felt very safe walking everywhere. Very clean. The best thing about my stay was the staff. Eugenia, and the girls in the front desk were amazing. They gave me great recommendations, made my reservations , were very attentive and welcoming . I can’t say enough good things about this little hotel.

Basic but good value
Really all you need for a two night stay. Very small but adequate. Only problem is to be aware of outer doors at night. There are two sets and it’s easy to get stuck in between. Instructions could be a little clearer. Staff friendly and helpful.

The room was very small with a shower, toilet and a sink all separate and put into a room about 12 x 14. The balcony was nice with a nice view of a downtown street. There is no elevator from the first to second floor so you have to carry up your luggage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage until check in which was great.

No lift from the Main Street to the reception area. No 24 hours front desk service which is only from 8am to 10pm. The main door only accessed by entry key which make you feel like you are staying in the hostel.

The location is great. The ONLY disadvantage for us was the outside noise level, which of course, is not in control of the hotel. We found it difficult to impossible to sleep before 23:00 or after 7:00.

comfortable bed. great location. clean room. but no hooks in the bathroom. you basically have to dress outside of the bathroom after shower. it would be inconvenient/awkward for friends or families sharing a room. If you were couples or with ppl you can be naked with, then there is no problems. otherwise we enjoyed the stay at the hotel.

It was our last night in Europe. We love Lisbon. in this hotel is right in the middle of everything. Perfect. I needed a refrigerator for my eye medication and they were kind enough to let me use their private fridge.

A cute little place in a great location! It was perfectly comfortable, very eco-friendly, and the staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Great value too! Highly recommend this wonderful place!

This hotel is not located on street level and had no elevator to reach second floor. 2 flights of steps to haul luggage just to get to main reception area. Elevator held only 2 people or 1 with luggage to go from 2nd floor up. Very clean. Odd configuration of room and bathroom. Very tiny room. No chair to sit on. No electric plug near sink. Sink is located in sleeping area.
