"The Lafayette Hotel in San Diego is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful amenities and attention to detail. Everything you could possibly want is right on site—an amazing bar, a gorgeous pool with its own pool bar, a fantastic restaurant, a fun arcade, a well-equipped gym, and even a 24-hour diner. The 24-hour coffee was a lifesaver (and delicious!). Every corner of this hotel is thoughtfully designed and simply stunning. My best friend and I had such a beautiful trip here. "Love this cute little motel. I’ve stayed here 6 or 7 different times while my son was a student at SDSU. The Lamplighter Inn is consistently immaculate- honestly, the grounds and buildings are so well-maintained. The breakfast is basic but good, the laundry facilities, water dispenser,& vending machines are available 24/7 in a secure room next to the lovely, shaded pool area. Parking is plentiful and free.
