"This was a stunning hotel both for rooms, food and service. It's location was fantastic for the castle. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Harry then had great meals over the next 2 evenings and the included breakfasts comprised both continental and cooked. You helped yourself to the continental and ordered the cooked. All meals were exceptional quality, reasonably priced and served with genuine smiles. When the staff asked whether everything was good, they were actually interested in the answer and would have corrected anything not right. Yvonne served us breakfast and offered to get us an early breakfast when we had to depart early. This pub had the best atmosphere and service in the village. Stunningly good."

"Excellent overnight stay in this delightful spot in the South Downs, close to Worthing. Beautifully modernised premises in spacious well-kept grounds. Our room was first class, as were the service snd the excellent breakfast, cooked in front of us. Altogether a real find."

"Smoky amazing B&B very boutique and fashionable. Couldn’t have asked for more. Bed was super comfy, shower was powerful & hot. Free parking across road all of stay, easy walk into town and bars, shops, beach etc. The chaps were lovely and so accommodating, I will be back. "

"Such a family friendly place. We had the penthouse which was huge and came with lots of amazing extras (I particularly like the decanter of sloe gin). Netflix etc on the tv was great, wifi was pretty good and our huge balcony was lovely. Yes, the decor is a little dated but it’s in keeping with a British seaside town and everything was spotless. The pool booking system in school holidays is brilliant, meant we had a private pool twice, fantastic bonus. Special shout out to Shannon on reception who was fantastic. "
