The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good, at a budget price. If you don't expect too much from the hotel , (it's not been refurbished for decades) then it's a decent place to stay.

Unfortunately the property is in need of decorating and modernising.It was only for one night for us and the beds appeared clean but it was a bit of a walk to the centre.I didn't want to write a review because I wouldn't want to upset anybody.

Best part was the comfy bed, ๐Ÿ™‚ had a good nights sleep. Worse part was the state of the bathroom and bedroom. Needs plenty of TLC in fact it all does. Hotel advertising bar but it was closed on arrival at 2.30pm and after going out to explore Southport, the hotel was in darkness at 9.30pm so no night cap then ๐Ÿ˜” but for the price, we got what we paid for

Shivering night

Never been so cold in a hotel in my life . Heating was turned off at night had to sleep in my clothes .as wall heater was terrible . Also room needed a good hover floors were filthy
