"We stayed at the Hotel Cubo for 4 nights. We arrived late in the first evening and our room was a little stuffy. The staff upon being informed immediately took action to correct the issue. The efforts helped; however, we were completely surprised the next morning when the staff checked in with us at breakfast to see if their efforts had corrected the issues (they were proactive). We said it helped but the room was still a little stuffy. They then offered to move us to another room which we accepted and that room was comfortable and incredible. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was exceptional!! The hotel location is great being just outside the Old Town (you can drive up to it!). Old Town is a short (less than 5 minute walk) from the hotel. We would definitely recommend the hotel and will stay there again if visiting Ljubljana."

Only slight disappointment was the gym, 2 of the machines were out of order and we specifically booked this hotel as it had a gym, but was still useable. Would definitely recommend."

The breakfast had an excellent variety and choice. The only thing I would say, and this isn’t really a complaint, was that the air conditioning was behind the curtains which meant the cool air stayed at the window instead of circulating around the room."

"Convenient location mid way between bus station and the old town (walkable). The square where the entry is looked a bit sketchy but it was safe (2 females). Unit is small but adequate, very clean, updated. Small fridge and cooktop if needed. Stairs to loft were a bit treacherous with weird spacing. Staff were very responsive. Convenient washer and dryer in hallway. Pizza shop on corner is great!"
