"Our spacious apartment was lovely. The location in the old town by the river was perfect. We were at the heart of activity but couldn’t hear a thing once inside. The bed was extremely comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful - one guy even stayed especially late to enable us to check in at 11pm."

"This hotel is truly a palace or a huge mansion, very well located, 1 block from the river and 3 blocks from the 3 bridges/Presernov square, the heart of the city. The room was huge. We checked in at 11 PM and there was somebody waiting for us. We had a great experience overall, definitely we will stay at Barbo palace on our next visit to Ljublana The only little inconvenience was having to open 2 doors with a physical key, we always ended up trying the wrong key."

"Great location, central to everything in central town and close to pick-up areas for tours. Staff is very nice. The room is very well equipped with nice products, and the use of space is optional. Castle view is worthwhile. I cut myself and had a little blood on sheet and they changed the sheets without request even though only 2 nights stay. Breakfast was very good, with not a large selection but had all the classics and a few nice surprises. The outdoor seating is a plus. The lobby and shared areas are well looked after. We ordered food at the bar, club sandwich was not ok. It was convenient to have the option. Coffee is good. I would return and recommend hotel to others."

"Our little room was nice and clean. Lots of bathrooms and showers, some private and some like a stall situation. They were a little messy, but thats just the people who where staying there at the time. We had a car and parking couldn't have been easier with reserving a spot. Close to the town center."
