Het appartement was niet proper. De slaapbank was helemaal niet confortabel. Warm water regelen was echt niet gemakkelijk. Wifi werkte niet. Wel goede locatie en comfortabele bedden.

Vorsicht, nicht mit Kindern buchen - Gesundheitsgefahr wegen Schimmelbefall! Dieses Apartment ernsthaft für ca.1500€/Woche anzubieten, kann als arglistige Täuschung bezeichnet werden. Die Veranstalter geben Namen wie Christian oder Rose vor, in Wirklichkeit hat man es mit Nicht-Engländern zu tun (nur gebrochenes Englisch wird gesprochen, vermutlich deshalb Verständnisdefizite). Es werden zusätzliche 56€ für einen früheren Check-in fällig. Bei Problemen ist die Service Telefonnummer erstmal für Stunden nicht zu erreichen. Wir kamen in einer völlig versifften Wohnung an, die Luft stand förmlich & roch nach altem Fett. Haare (darunter auch Schambehaarung) verteilt auf allen Betten. Schimmel in der Wäschekammer. Völlig verdreckte Küche. Keine Hilfe über Hotline, nur eine Dame namens Rose mit gebrochenem Englisch die keine Entscheidung treffen konnte. Nach ca. 5 Stunden Wartezeit in der widerlichen Wohnung Anruf dieser Rose, es würde nun in 2-3 Stunden eine Putzfrau vorbeischauen um sich um die vergessenen Kleinigkeiten „clean the small bits that were missed“ zu kümmern. Wir haben dann die Wohnung nach diesem Anruf verlassen und für weitere sehr hohe Kosten (high season) ein anderes Hotel gebucht. Service Hotline von expedia war leider keine Hilfe, man könne nichts machen, der Fall sei nicht dringend genug für eine Umbuchung. E-Mail mit Fotos an Expedia. Bis heute (1 Woche später) noch keine Stellungnahme seitens expedia. Kaution von 350€ wurde nicht zurücküberwiesen!!!!

The apartment we were sent to was not the apartment we booked. Very Angry. We couldn’t stay there because it was up 2 steep flights of stairs then more stairs inside the apartment. One of our party was unwell and couldn’t do the stairs. I especially chose an apartment that was very close to the underground and the apartment we were given was further away. We managed to find a hotel at short notice but we’re very angry and disappointed that they switched apartments on us. We didn’t use the apartment so with our hotel bill as well it cost us double for our stay in London.

So-So for me

The flat itself is really great. We stayed in April with our family of 5 and the heater kept everything warm, but I could see how it could be a hot flat in the summer. The washer was lovely but like most European flats we have stayed in there was no dryer so you air dry everything and that takes a while. I could never find the dishwasher so I washed all the dishes by hand. The flat is located on the 6th floor but the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor. It was fine, but just make note if you have a hard time doing stairs. I give this flat a neutral rating because one morning we came down the stairs and 3 homeless people who look like they had been doing drugs were in the stairwell. It is also right near a hospital so there are sirens all the time. We were a bit stressed because I felt we had to beg to get the information to get into the flat (like we were leaving for the airport when the check information came). I would have liked to have a sheet on the bed there was a fitted sheet and then the comforter. Overall though I would say the flat had good space, easy to get to the grocery store, and the tube.

lovely apartment

It was nice apartment. The staff replied my email really quickly and I had problem to book the room through this site but, when I called them, they solved the problem really kindly. Location is really lovely. However, heating system turns off after an hour automatically, it was little bit cold to sleep.

Good value in good location - pros & cons

Location is great. Two bedrooms and one bath in this location is very good. Furniture is cheap and meant for rentals. Mattresses are very poor quality, and basic spring mattress - very soft with few coils - no support with sub-par sheets and cheap pillows. The kitchen is nice and excellent for short stays and someone who wants to prepare a few meals at home. It is simply very basic. Nice flat screen TV, and access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. very few TV channels for live TV. Great to stay in winter. No A/C so imagine it could get hot in the summer. Looks like might have previously been public housing. There were groups of guys selling marijuana and smoking it in the stair case. (Elevator only goes to 5th floor and then you must walk up the stairs to 6th floor. It was fine for guys, but might be uncomfortable for families/kids. In general, positive stay and good value, but would be a lot better if they upgraded the mattresses and some of the fixtures/features. They could likely charge more as well.

The location is perfect. It is less than a 5 minutes walk to two major tube stops and less than 10 minutes from Euston train station. We had no difficulty getting to destinations in and out of the city. All of the major attractions in London were 5-20 minutes away by tube. A grocery store directly across the street and nearby restaurants and coffee shops made mealtimes simple. The apartment is cozy for 4 adults, but we were there only to sleep so that didn’t matter to us. I would recommend an eye mask and earplugs for anyone staying in the front bedroom if you are s light sleeper as you can hear the traffic (I only say this because I noticed the sounds as I fell asleep, but had no problems myself) The apartment is secure with a key fob entry to the building and 3 locks on the door. Check in was easy. Be sure to download the detailed instructions for getting the key from the lock box and locating the entrance. The photos that were provided were very helpful for our jet lagged brains...

The perfect flat for the travelling family

A really nice flat close to everything. We travelled with 3 kids and enjoyed the easyness of everything. Sainsbury's, tubes and busses just outside the door. Lift big enough for the pram. The flat was very clean with perfect beds, and Netflix was perfect after a long day in the city. Very good kitchen facilities too. Only we could have wished some more plates and glasses. We will definately come back! The perfect flat for the family or friends travelling together.
