"We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at the Cannery Pier Hotel and had the best time! The staff is so friendly and the amenities are outstanding. The location is perfect as we walked along the boardwalk to and from downtown Astoria with ease. The chef at the omelette station made the most delicious omelettes…very generous portion. I highly recommend staying here. "

"When I got there I realized i had picked the wrong wing, i told the staff behind the desk of my moms problems and they found a suitable room for us in a quick, professional, and efficient manner. The East wing doesnt have an elevator, only the West wing does. Everyone was so friendly and understanding. Checkout after 2 nights stay was great and when I forgot some stuff in the room they let me back in to obtain it. They do charge $50 deposit temporarily ontop of the room fee but you get it back on your card within a week after your stay is over (unless you charged stuff to your room, then it is less back). The view was amazing. The distillery taste testing was a great experience (I recommend the Rhubarb Elder flower Liquor). The heated pool was nice, it only goes down to 4½ft though. If you want a great place to eat for your dollar then i recommend The Breakfast Club for breakfast, El Compadre for Mexican food for lunch, and The Lost Roo for dinner. The Breakfast Club and El Compadre have separate burners for seafood and shellfish so if you are allergic then these are the two places to go. The Lost Roo has mixed burners though so i couldnt eat there, but when i asked the people there were upfront and honest about it. They were very accommodating when it came to my mom's health issues too. Overall the stay and experience was one of the best i have ever had. "
