Hamilton Island was an amazing, friendly and chilled place, with a beautiful setting. Even in peak season, it never felt crowded, nor expensive. The apartments are see facing, overlooking catseye beach and Whitsundays - amazing view. There is a swimming pool, which looked lovely, but didn't need to use, as the sea water was a lovely comfortable temperature, and calm. The hotel and amenities were good and staff were friendly. But we had issues with hotel bandwidth when watching Netflicks in our room, it kept dropping, we had to restart 5 times in one movie.

Good location. Good beds. Good aircon. All my belongings were safe. I liked the bathroom for each cabin however we had a very temperamental shower that was stuck pointing at the wall. It was luck of the draw if you got it hot or cold. Breakfast was good however opened late and I had an early morning transfer so had to rush through it. Atmosphere was good and connecting hotel lots of fun. Great for backpackers.
