La Quinta Inn & Suites, Long Island hotels

First time to stay outside Manhattan. This place has more value than hotels in Manhattan because it is cheaper, it is much more spacious, and it gets more sunlight. If you stay in Manhattan and pay the same price, you’ll get a room with zero space to open your suitcase, dirty and dark without windows, lower ceiling etc. The only caveat is not looking good neighbourhood. Overall, I like it and will stay again

The hotel is relatively new and staff are friendly and responsive. Place is quiet but the quietness may pose a challenge to people who return late by public transport.

The staff at reception are friendly and helpful in all aspects during all my interactions with them. They mentioned my Marriott bonvoy membership which I had forgotten, provided detailed information on dining and airport shuttle services. Welcome relief after a 19 hour flight! Breakfast staff were less friendly though

Located in a quiet area, 3-min walk to a subway station, the spacious room was housekeep daily. App-operated washer/dryer available for self laundry. Free breakfast serves the same food daily.
