"Nice big room. Comfy bed. Friendly staff.
Had our little dog with us and although a LOT of dog rules, she was allowed in most places. We only had continental breakfast which wss adequate. Full breakfast looked generous.
We ate one night at the restaurant which was good.
Sadly the view not idea with temporary kitchens that look lile they will be there a while."

"This is a great hotel to stay at while exploring the Forest of Dean. The rooms were quaint and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pub downstairs was cute."

"We certainly would book this friendly hotel again, excellent breakfasts and lots of food choices during the day.
Lesuire facilities are superb, swimming pool is a delight, staff very helpful and informitive."
"Brand new hotel in Gloucester centre. walkable, car park next to hotel is convenient, make sure you prepay in advance for that to make it affordable. Room/Bathroom/Furniture all new so its squeaky clean. nice staff very thoughtful on check in. would stay here again, especially in warm days as its nearly the only hotel in gloucester centre with air conditioning"
"We had a 1st floor room there are no ground floor which is up around 15 steps, it was just inside the building
It was clean the windows would not stay open, we ate at the hotel two nights food was nice but quite pricey
Peaceful stay could not fault the staff they were polite, hard working and really couldn’t ask for more"
"Room 25 at the end of the courtyard was newly refurbished and very tastefully done. Staff were very pleasant and efficient as was breakfast. The only comment I would make is, if you are utilising super-king size beds, (which is great), you really ought to provide super-king size duvets to properly cover them! Apart from that, the hotel is very centrally located but has no parking on site and the free parking is 10 minutes walk away down quite a steep hill."
"Everything was great - no issues. Car parking was also well integrated but it appeared to be only 24hr blocks. Might be handy if you arrive early to be able to get 26 or 30 if exploring the next day.
Room was large and airy, nicely decorated and bathroom was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Only thing I couldn't locate was info about mini bar and if the water in the fridge was complimentary or chargeable.
I'd happily stay again."
"Staff are very helpful and friendly spa was ok but very busy.
Food absolutely fantastic in the restaurant
Breakfast really good with a very good selection"
