The DoubleTree Hotel in San Pedro, California, provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout my visit, making the experience even more pleasant. Their excellent customer service was greatly appreciated. My stay here was welcoming and smooth. From the moment I arrived Emerson and the security did their best to make us comfortable until our room was ready. Although we waited a few hours for our room, because we arrived early we were able to secure our luggage at the facility. We were also able to lounge in the common area until our room was ready. I definitely will stay here again. Thank you to all the employees for their kindness.

They allowed us to leave our car there and provided a shuttle to the Port of LA to board our cruise. They charged a very reasonable $25 per day to leave the car in their parking lot.

Great stay before cruise. The property could use some minor landscape maintenance. The room was large and immaculate. I know they are going through an upgrade, but our room in the main building was delightful. The check-in was amazingly fast. The food in the dining room was reasonably priced and very good. I read a lot of complaints about the 20-percent surcharge as if it were a surprise. Everywhere you look there are signs indicating there will be the charge per collective bargaining. The free shuttle to the cruise terminal was a great benefit.
