Great staff...there was a party the first night we got there and for the price we paid - would have liked to enjoy the Roof Bar but were unable too. Understand that the owners want to make money but for the price we paid it should have not happened. The staff were great and the rooms were small but adorable.

Wonderful bougie boutique hotel with gorgeous views of the Malibu pier and surf break. Short walk next door to live music at popular AV Dreamland. The private rooftop deck is absolutely fantastic. We had other plans in Malibu, but could have just chilled at the resort the whole time. We will definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Surfrider! This was truly the cutest place and was so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and the location couldn’t be better. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

The private upstairs terrace was fantastic. Unfortunately we were not able to use it the following day for breakfast or lunch because it had been rented out for a private event. I was notified of this less than 24 hrs before the event and there was no cancellation offered….Great location though and we walked Next-door to Dreamland for a concert in the evening. We ordered room service for breakfast which never came. Unfortunately our top floor room was directly under the terrace and the early morning noise of heavy furniture and tables being moved directly above was loud. We rolled with it and made the most of it….but we were not able to use the amenities and it was my husbands birthday so I readjusted our plans.
