We were disappointed with our stay. For a five-star hotel at this price point, our expectations weren’t met. We booked a classic city view room—not a suite—which felt small, outdated, and had an unusually low shower head (I’m 5’11” and had to squat to rinse). Service was mixed: check-in was friendly with great food tips, but bar service was very slow. Other issues included early morning construction noise, undelivered luggage, malfunctioning key cards and Wi-Fi, and repeated trips to reception. These may have been isolated issues, but overall, the experience didn’t match the cost or reputation. We won’t be returning on our next visit to Lucerne.

Before the arrival of our baby, we had a wonderful 2-night, 3-day stay at the hotel. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were very friendly, and the entire facility was spotless. Next time, we would appreciate it if you could offer us a welcome drink at check-in as well. ^_^
