"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"I stayed here with my husband as an early birthday trip and left very happy with our stay! There were some minor blemishes on the hotel that make me think it’s probably due for a remodel, but these were very minor. Mostly what I will remember is the very big room, the very big tub, and one excellent view from the balcony. A comfortable getaway for a Yosemite trip, and great for families (we saw lots of kids running around). Plus, we loved the nightly smores/marshmallow roasting! Absolutely would stay here again."
"Upon arrival the host was was very unwelcoming stating, "I'm eating dinner, what do you want?"
There was a bent nail sticking up from the floor on the threshold between the kitchen & bedroom, that was noticed while walking barefoot. There was no remote control for the TV mounted on the wall. When returning to the office to inquire, the answer was "there should be one, I'll send someone"... nobody came. There was blue tape on the back door where the door itself did not meet the door moulding.
The cabin itself could be very charming, with some TLC. It looks nice from the outside and the yard is nice."
"Staff was nice and always helpful. We needed a cot and then a baby bed (pack n play) and they were pretty quick about it. Pool was clean. Kitchenette had pots, pans, plates, silverware, glass which I didn't expect but was good to have. Mini fridge was spacious (but we did have a cooler in our truck as back up). Didn't know coffee was free if I brought my own cup, my husband just overheard someone saying that the last day. I spent like $15 purchasing a coffee for 3 or 4 morning. I was there 5 night. The pizza place was pretty good. Didn't get a chance to try the other restaurant since it's always full and long wait. There's a playground and a pool which my kids enjoyed. Room is cleaned upon request so I just requested it to be cleaned everyday for the 5 days I was staying there and didn't have to call everyday to have it cleaned the next day, that was nice. Most Yosemite main view points were 30 min drive from the hotel. Overall I had a great experience."
"Terrible communication for after hour Checkin. It was a legit treasure hunt in pitch darkness trying to get the keys and code to access the property."
