"Just an amazing gem, the property itself is an amazing estate with great staff and food - with the feel of a small boutique manor, it offers a nice luxurious retreat at a reasonable price, it was the highlight stay of our 16 day trip around the UK."
"Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast.
The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free...
"Absolutely lovely stay at New Bath Hotel. The staff were lovely very helpful. A bonus is the use of the lido. Very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again."
"A lovely place to stay in Ashover. Staff were kind and friendly and the accomodation is quiet and comfortable, if a little lacking in detailed maintenance in places. But despite that, I should be happy to return in the future "
"This was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet."

"Bar service very good.
Had what i wanted in stock.
The room i had was newly decorated to a very high standard so much so i will be requesting that one again.
The morning staff as friendly as the evening staff which makes a real difference as i was treated like a person and not a number.

"Lovely B&B. Clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was really good.
Close to Matlock by foot. However, it’s quite on a hill. So not so practical for people with mobility issues. "
"My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal.
The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best!
Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer.
Thank you Ziz once again, kind regards Ian & Christine x"
