Once arrived at hotel I was informed the room had been cancelled although room was paid in full prior to arrival. Leaving our night stay with sleeping in a van as too late to book in anywhere else. Poor service

When arriving there was nobody at the desk, it was about 10 minutes before someone showed, after pressing the bell a few times. Room was ok, bit dark. We asked for extra pillows and they were provided. The bed itself was comfortable. After returning from a day in Maastricht we found the room had not been cleaned, dirty towels not replaced, bed not made and coffee and tea not replenished. We arranged with reception the necessary. Next day we did not want to go out for an evening meal so we thought we would eat in the hotel. After waiting for someone to take an order or hand us the menu I asked at reception if the restaurant was open?? I was told a colleague would be along shortly, we gave it an other 10 minutes or so and decided not to bother and went out into the town for a meal. Poor service from all levels of staff during our stay, will not use this hotel again.

Unbelievable room, window could not be opened, no air conditioning. Smell on the hotel floor like a hospital. Unfriendly staff at breakfast, breakfast mostly convenience food, terrible loud radio music at breakfast

The gotel is advetised as Horel Bastipn Central it is definately not ventral it cost 16 euro for a taxi to the station which is in the centre we yried to check in at 15.00hrs we eventuallly got our room key at 5pm ubacceptable . They charged top rates but gave a terrable service.

Koelkast was defect. Viel uit de kast als je de deur open deed. Zou graag een raam willen openen. ‘‘s avonds aan de bar was er geen personeel dat even kwam vragen wat je wou drinken. Inchecken moest 2 keer gebeuren.
