La Chevrerie is a gorgeous small resort right on the ocean. The staff is absolutely lovely, the food is quite good, the drinks are very well-made, and the rooms and beds super comfortable. The highlight for us was the ring of palm trees around the pool which was on the edge of the ocean wall (stairs down to the beach). It made the property shaded at all times, which not all seem to be. It was lovely sitting on lounge chairs at the end of the day enjoying the breeze and a drink. The resort has a dive center, and they call boats in to take you out diving or snorkelling (which was really great - the reef is pretty healthy and fish abundant). I also had a massage and the therapist was very skilled. The food is quite good - the only downside was it's mostly not Filipino food, and we wanted to taste more dishes. The restaurant staff takes your orders while you're sitting by the pool then they call you when your meal is ready so you don't have to sit in the restaurant and wait. The resort creates such a nice atmosphere that residents have pleasant exchanges with each other.
