Very noisy in the evening with loud club music until midnight. No sound insulation around room doors so you hear loud guest coming and going in the night. No face tissue in the bathroom. No face towels. No proper shower soap just hand soap. Candy rapper on floor from previous guests.

Wouldn’t call this a five stars, far from it. No aircon, only provide 1 towel, bed and pillow are hard, dinner at 6pm came in staff still briefing and give me looks and told me to come back in few minutes. Stayed a lot of hotel and honest for the price it is definitely not worth it.

Excellent Stay
Great location in the heart of the city and 5 mins walk from the bus station to Machu Picchu. Excellent service. They have a great spa and sauna within the hotel.

This hotel doesn’t count with good service
I had a group of 16 passengers staying for a few nights and we had made reservations moths before ,had sent payment in full and a week before they had cancel the reservation because they said they didn’t received payment . Payment that was sent with a Boucher .When we arrived in the reservation we had made reservations for two children and their parents he was the tour conductor the manager at the front desk argued with us saying that the kids had to pay and that they count stay in the same room this where kids of 6 and 8 years .The manager did not gave any solution it was a terrible experience .They had another person in training to collect the passports and she was very rude to the passengers was not ready to help a big group . Monica,Teddy,Isabel are the people at the front desk .They need to change this personal .This was very humiliating experience for our group .They dint want to give an extra bed for the kids . They charged for their food . Check out time guest where returning their keys and a person by the name of Claudia was handling this she insisted in one of our clients need it to pay for a message .The passenger had to look for the receipt to show that he had paid already she was charging for some other persons name not related to the passenger .She dint even apologize .This is probably the 20 th time that I bring groups to this hotel .it was very terrible.I will not return to this hotel or recommend it ta

Spa isn’t included and cost a whopping $50 per person for a lukewarm jacuzzi and a 40C sauna. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, the dinner was wonderful though and was included with the night which was a great surprise. The room was great and the staff were wonderful. They kept our backpacking bags after check out (which allowed us to climb up Machu Picchu considerably lighter). They also brought our bags to the train station. Overall great stay, I just wouldn’t recommend the spa.

Best property in Agua Calientes hands down! Hotel has all the amenities needed, centrally located, quick walk from train station. Spa is nice but simple and reasonably priced. Excellent service overall.

Nice stay but not worth the money.
Hotel is obviously upscale, very clean, modern. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. If I wanted to nit pick I would say the cheap clear plastic shower curtain in a fancy room stood out and no shelves in shower to put shampoo etc on so you have to bend over. The shower also did not drain very well so I got water all in my shampoo bottle. Not the end of the world though... Breakfast & dinner are included in your stay which is nice. Breakfast buffet was adequate, nothing to write home about. The dinner on the other hand was straight up bad. I hate to be negative but it was the worst food we had in our 10 days in Peru. At this price point I had higher expectations. They had a decent selection of items on the dinner menu (same both nights we were here) and the portions were good. But the quality and taste of the meals were subpar. My boyfriend got a pork tenderloin and you could not even cut into it much less chew it so he ended up just eating the veggies it came with. I got pasta and there was barely any sauce, tasted like it came from a jar. Can get much better food for a very affordable price. Overall, nice stay but not worth the money for me. I even used a credit from Hotels.com thankfully otherwise it would have been more. There are so many affordable hotels in Peru, I don't see the sense in paying for this place.

I loved the property and where it was located in the village. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was large and clean and the food was delicious and local. I would definitely reccomend it for quests of all ages.

Superfriendly staff, especially Monica at the front desk. Gave us a free upgrade for the second night. Pick up and drop off at the train station. We were late for breakfast for one day - restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate us - made us omlette. Overall, a very positive experience. Definitely will recommend to family and friends.

My expectations of this hotel were too high, it’s not worth the money you pay for one night. Our first night there we got stocked on the elevator, it happened 2 more times. Our vanity sink and shower were clogged. Dinner menu is the same every night and it was ok. The staff are not friendly at all. Also, the type of railing ( wood decoration)they used on the stairs aren’t safe for little kids. Our room lock box never worked one person came and fixed it, he just move the battery and didn’t replace them, so we didn’t bother to call again.

This hotel was great except for the noise. It was modern, clean and provided dinner. However the type of doors they have on the deck are very thin and don’t seal into each other so you can hear everything going on in the courtyard. I wasn’t able to sleep because I could hear people talking in the courtyard as well as outside my door. I would give this place 5/5 but the sound was a huge problem and I wasn’t able to sleep at all.

It’s my least favorite hotel in Peru. Definitely not a 4 star. No one showed up at the train station, we ended up walking to the hotel ourselves, good thing it’s a very short walk. We got in at around 11 am and waited an hour before we were able to check in. I understand the check in time is 1 pm but most hotels let their guests check in early especially since I didn’t see anyone else checking in. Shower is small and does not drain well. Not enough toilet paper in the room. Breakfast and dinner are sub par, the Ossobuco is so tough it’s not even edible. They even run out of eggs for breakfast. The servers were nice though. The good part is the location. Very close to the train station and the bus stop. I do not recommend this property.

Upgraded to Pueblo Hotel - What a Great Surprise
We booked the El Mapi but were upgraded to the Intekerra Pueblo hotel. It was a wonderful hotel in all ways. Large Wei appointed and rusticly decorated room. Beautiful grounds and great common facilities. The included dinner and breakfast were exceptional.

Amazing modern hotel for Machu Picchu trip
Amazing hotel that made our Machu Picchu trip a magical experience in the middle of Aguas Calientes. Perfect location. Modern, clean and excellent service. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was modern with s great shower. Happy they had elevators as our room was on the fourth floor and you already have to walk up through the town. Great bar and restaurant and beautiful spa. Very friendly staff. The hotel provided us free breakfast and dinner and both were delicious with many options. We stayed two nights and it was not long enough as I wish we could have explored more hikes to waterfalls nearby. We were able to go to the thermal pools and the nearby waterfall within a 15 minute walk. Located near the train station and MO buses, as well as to many stores, restaurants and bars. We really appreciated the fridge in the room as we were able to purchase drinks nearby and keep them cold as ice is hard to find.

the stay was flawless. We were picked up by staff at the train station without having to coordinate. The hotel was 10m from the station and 5m from the bus pickup to Machu Picchu. It is also at the bottom of the hill. Room was beautiful. There was free breakfast and dinner which were fantastic. We were able to leave our bags after check out which was brought to the train station at departure. The spa was reasonable and amazing. I got a 60m leg massage after my Hike and was able to use their shower since I already checked out. The lobby was spacious so people can lounge and take naps as needed. Perfect stay!

Amazing dinner!
Dinner was included and absolutely spectacular! I was expecting a buffet but we received fresh meal selection options and was honestly one of the best meals we had on the trip! P.S. this property is connected with the other Inkaterra property in town and we highly recommend you walk through their rainforest to experience birds, flowers and plants galore!

We were upgraded from the MAi P to the main Inkaterra property when we arrived. The grounds were incredible we saw a rare birds from the Jacuzzi and the general layout of the grounds and casitas was beautiful and otherworldly. Great property, highly recommend.

Let me start by stating that the staff and location are good. I truly hate leaving negative reviews as I know they tried their best and many issues were out of their hands. Here were some really tough issues to overcome: RROS 1. Staff is lovely and try hard 2. Dinner is included and they go out of the way to assist. 3. They offered an “upgrade” to a sister property but we had just gotten back from Machu Picchu. CONS 1. Rooms are super small 2. There’s no climate control. It was warm out but they will send a fan if you ask. No AC, only heat. 3. Breakfast is definitely not traditionally American. They had large groups of Chinese tourists and seem to be geared towards that demographic. 4. There was a lot of construction and noise from 8AM to 5PM at the hotel. They used jackhammers and lots of loud tools. 5. There were two rooms and we were 1 person per room so we requested a king bed. One of our rooms were twin beds, but that’s ok. All in all, I really wanted to enjoy this property and seemed to have all the ingredients of a potentially good property but they really fell short. I wouldn’t recommend this property unless you are a Chinese tourist.
