"Very nice view of the lake. Very helpful staff. The rooms have a private onsen hot tub on the balcony. The rooms have tatami and are set up to sleep on the floor. You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."
"It was easy to find from the station, breakfast was good, the public bath was good ( you do need to strip down to your birthday suite), the room was good except the bed it was one step up from sleeping on the hard ground."
"The rooms were tiny. My wife and I had to coordinate to open our suitcases. There was basically just a bed and a tiny amount of space around it. It certainly didn’t feel like 140 square feet.
On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was very nice."

"It was a great experience. I really liked the location of the hotel and the staff were really ice and friendly.
Rooms are bigger than usual in compared to other hotels in Japan.
Unfortunately there is no Onsen in the hotel.
It is very close to shopping centers and transportation.
I will definitely go back again."
"If you've stayed in one Tokoyo Inn, you've pretty much stayed in them all. This one hasn't seen some of the upgrades that busier locations have, but it's very clean and practically inside the train station."
"I only stayed for one night - I was heading to the second round of the D1GP in Okuibuki the next day. The staff were polite, and handed me the tickets I had forwarded to meet me three. Thank you. "
"Overall it is really an excellent hotel. Many of the rooms should be updated, but still they are adequate and spacious. The breakfast area can be busy, but there is a large adjacent room with plenty of space. The hotel staff were great. The onsen has a spacious indoor bath and plenty of washing areas. The outdoor bath is very pleasant, just be careful walking on the stone surfaces. The staff takes good care of the onsen and sauna. The location is good. You can walk to Nagahama JR station and the old town area is just beyond. The lake and the large beautiful next door park and castle is good for walking. There are not many restaurants open at night in central Nagahama, but you can probably find something."
