"The square footage listing for the executive rooms is wrong on the website. I estimate the rooms are in the 220-300 sq ft range. The room has individual air conditioning units which is good for controlling the temperature in the room. Lobby is on 2nd floor. There is a set of stairs to enter the hotel. Breakfast was minimal. "Having stayed at this hotel on several occasions, I chose to return because of its calm, zen-like atmosphere and excellent location, which feels like an oasis after a day in the hustle and bustle of the city. The property is generally very clean, and the lobby creates a welcoming first impression. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was a major let-down and well below the standards I have come to expect from this hotel. While the staff were quick to acknowledge the issue and offered complimentary lounge access for one day during our five-night stay, the gesture felt somewhat inadequate as it did not extend to any other facilities. The staff were otherwise helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast was good, although there was room for improvement. Overall, while the hotel retains its peaceful charm and strong location, parts of the property are beginning to feel dated, and the disappointing arrival experience detracted from what could have been a much stronger stay."

"We stayed at The Leela Mumbai from 26-29 May with Royal Club access and had an excellent experience.On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the Club Lounge, where Gerald handled our check in. As this was our first visit to India since 2020, his friendly, professional and attentive approach immediately put us at ease. He also helped us with our request for interconnecting rooms, showing us the available options and allowing us to choose without any pressure. The outstanding hospitality extended throughout the hotel. Every staff member we encountered -from the porters and reception team to the restaurant staff, housekeeping colleagues, room attendants and cleaning staff-was warm, professional and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. Their attention to detail and proactive service made us feel truly valued. The Club Lounge team looked after us exceptionally well. Service was consistently attentive, and the selection of snacks and canapés was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.Our only minor disappointment was that seasonal fruits such as mangoes, lychees and mangosteens were available only as chargeable items. Given that these fruits were in season and are so popular in India, we had hoped they might be offered complimentary in the lounge or available in guest rooms upon request. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the exceptional hospitality shown by Gerald and the entire team. Look forward to returning soon."

"This is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. As soon as you walked in to the moment you walked out, the team were polite and very helpful. The room was a great size, plenty of luggae space (we could fit 2 suitcases on the side stand), good products and always well stocked. The room was modern and clean and had a bath as well as a shower. The spa was amazing, with a jucuzzi, steam room, sauna and the pool was very inviting. the gym equipment was well kept and had everything we needed. Breakfast was relaxed and the choice was food and service were excellent. The staff were helpful and willing to make anything for you. Shoeb was one of the staff that helped us and provided us with a lot of information on Mumbai. Our highlight was a young lady who met us when we checked in and went on to provide us with information, help and a great service throughout. Thank you Sweta for looking after us!!!"
