"It was paradise and the whole team took great care of us, from the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, to the waiters and chefs in the restaurant and also the spa, they took great care and were super friendly and helpful. The island is beautiful and there is loads to do on the island or the sea or via the water sports centre."

"Very small island 100m x 500m.
Great villas on the beach
Great buffets
Free snorkelling on boat twice a day
Amazing pool
Not many excursions, so 3-5 days is plenty
Very relaxed pace."

"Great staff. Smiles everywhere we were.
Food was amazing.
Great place for snorkeling.
Location was very good, however too many commercial boats around and local islands around with average view."

Stayed in beach villa 105. Has a great layout. Outdoor bathroom was superb and room itself was wonderful. You basically step out of your patio into the ocean. Fins and mask+snorkel are provided free of charge at the marine center. You get 2x1.5L water everyday and top up of coffee machine pods. You also get life jackets in your room should you need them. You can really travel light. Everything you would need is provided for in the room.
The house reef is excellent. You don't really need to dive...

It was an amazing stay. The staff were nice and friendly, place was clean and beautiful. Food wise I would say the breakfast was great. We had bbq by the beach for dinner which I thought was romantic. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. We love it!

Good housekeeping and cleanliness in the villas as well as good food hygiene and overall staff service standards make the stay enjoyable. Very nice and delicious food with wide range of options here too. Ideal destination if you like sea sports and cruises.

Everything was great and of high quality: villa, beach, restaurants, wines and cocktails list.
It is only the internet connection that could be faster.

We stayed in the sunset overwater bungalow and it was just amazing. A huge villa with your own pool just above the turquoise ocean and fishes. The breakfast buffet is great with lots of options and the chef even made almond milk for me. For dinner you have several options - we tried the italian restaurant with amazing pasta, the ocean grill with super tender meat and a delicious vegan chickpea dish. We also had a castaway dinner where they bring you to an islands to have a candle light dinner...

There is absolutely nothing to complain for the resort itself: comfortable, huge, scenic view, etc.
The service was great, and they really go to the lengths to make one experience the VIP treatment right from the very start.
The only thing that marred this entire experience is the seaplane transfer to and from the Male airport.
At 300 USD per pax, you would have expected tip-top service but no, it was a gross and huge disappointment.
1. The Seaplane was late.
2. Due to seaplane being late, it...

I would describe this as a house boat pitched on a mini great barrier reef - with your own private sea view.
Our turtle snorkelling was sensational with the marine team (professionals - free divers / biologist). Im not a confident sea swimmer and I was well cared for and had an anxious free time.
We didn't need sun-loungers/pool/beach
we had private sun-loungers/deck/ocean/house reef.
The snorkelling from your own deck was so enticing - transparent water and plenty of marine...

People at Mirihi were fabulous, from the GM, Sureesh, to the resident Chef, Felix and also Fernando, to all the dinning staff, Moosa and so many more, divemaster Fluo was the best we have ever encountered. We loved the whale shark and manta ray tour. The guides were very eager for us to swim with the rays and sharks, but bear in mind this will require at least a set of fins to keep up with the whale shark. That was simply magical. Rooms were clean and everyone was professional, helpful,...

A great all inclusive property to stay at. All the staff are really welcoming & polite. Our host was Elena and she was really fabulous in making sure we enjoy our stay at Emerald and helped to create all itineraries at the resort.
