We were just at the hotel for a very short amount of time so I don’t know about the additional amenities but it is very pretty. The staff at the front desk wasn’t overly friendly. I had a feeling we were inconveniencing him by coming in so late. Maybe if you’re staying for a longer period of time you’ll have a different opinion

Charming hotel
We were absolutely delighted with Hotel Araxa. Beautifully styled, clean, friendly and comfortable. The rooms were spacious with good air conditioning, the pool area and grounds were impeccably kept. The restaurant area is open to locals and it's a great sign that it's busy. Highly recommended... It makes a change from chain hotels.

The lobby and main area of the hotel have kept a 60s style which is very appealing. Gill, at the front desk, was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The location isn't the best for views or anything lik that but it nakes up for it.

Really good, food good enough for breakfast, fresh OJ, There was a fair amount of building works going on, but didn't hear them or notice them much. everyone is friendly and helpful - will stay here again. Gym was quite big for a hotel and useful

Easy access to Palma centre whether walking or on by bus . Staff are superb, nothing too much trouble. We will definitely look at booking next time we are in Palma

Quality hotel not too far from centre.
Very clean hotel which was comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Very good facilities.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean comfy rooms. Restaurant good choices, large portions at a good price. All the usual choices for breakfast. Local bus stop nearby to take you into the centre of Palma in about ten minutes, regular service and cheap.

Quiet pleasant stay.
Simple but comfortable rooms, nice fluffy robes and pool towels provided which is a nice touch. Pleasant reception and bar staff and plenty of lounges etc by the pool. Dog friendly, beware if that's an issue for you. Not sure what the cut off age for 'adults' is, there were some noisy teenage girls in the pool one evening, but overall I would stay again.

One of my best experience travelling with Hotel.com for holidays. Hotel is close to Marina (600m) which is good as we were renting a boat before staying at hotel. The pool is big for the size of the hotel (only 75 rooms). Fitness center is amazing, the best one I gave ever seen even in 5 stars hotels. The health center is perfect with one sauna for up to 5 people, one infrared sauna for 2 people, one steam room for 5 people and one big jacuzzi for 5 people. Staff is really nice: we arrived at 9:30am and stated only 1 night but they managed to change our room booking to give us an available room at 9:30am !! And when leave checkout was at 12:00pm but we could keep our towels for the pool until our taxi to the airport arrived at 3:00pm. Restaurant is simple but very good and price low: full menu for 15€. We will be back for one week relaxing I think next year.

The hotel is he lovely, tasteful old-fashioned style hotel with modern amenities. We had a room overlooking the pool with a very generous balcony. The room has good air conditioning. During our first few days it was very quiet and new issue getting a space around the pool. At the weekend however it was a bit busier. The staff are exceptionally helpful. We had a problem with the toilet in our bathroom on the first day and within an hour they had replaced the entire toilet!

Nice quiet location within 15 minute walk of Santa Catalina with great bars and restaurant. Plenty of parking near to hotel for our hire car if you are prepared to park bumper to bumper. Hotel staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lovely feel, is very relaxed and the bar is a good place for an evening drink with lots of locals visiting as well. Breakfast and bar meals are really good. Dinner menu a la carte in the restaurant was a bit limited but we still enjoyed eating there on several occasions. Our room had a balcony and was lovely. Overall very good holiday.

Relaxing hotel out of town
Very relaxing- good spa and large gym - some equipment a bit outdated / a/c not great and had to pay for water in the gym- no water cooler or bottles. Pool was very cold but a nice terrace and good food/ ambience. Mixed opinion of staff - see below.

Nice relaxing hotel
I enjoyed my stay at the Araxa. Very pleasant with nice facilities. He environment was lovely, spacious, very clean, lovely gardens around the pool, nice food, nice gym, & nice to have adults only.

A marvelous hotel in every sense. From staff care to condition. Nice size bedroom with all the appliances and toiletries, and what is best, quiet. Very quiet. We did select this hotel on purpose as it's adults only, and believe me you will appreciate to have such a nice rest and peace. Nice breakfast and great yet small-ish pool

It's a pretty nice hotel, it was close to where my conference was so that's why I chose it. Rooms were clean and recently refurbished, however when I arrived the bathroom smelled terrible, like sewers. But the next day the smell was gone and didn't come back. No major complaints as I was rarely in the hotel but air con unit was old and the instructions didn't relate to the unit in my room, there wasn't a clothes airer in the room and the room service charge was €3.50 not €2 which were all detailed incorrectly in the room info.

This hotel has annoyed me...firstly the two mature female receptionists. .one English. .one Spanish were rude..unhelpful..patronising and hostile...felt awkward asking them any thing. There was 6 month layer of dust under the beds..causing my husbands allergies to go mad.On day of checkout €105 had been added to our bill for use of the balcony attached to our room!!!!!!...seriously...that's an outrage.On the plus side the waiting staff were nice and the food was ok...not great...but ok .I wouldn't go back or recommend due the hostile female receptionists and the scam of trying to add on a cost for the balcony...no won't be back...ever...

Booked double rooms but on arrival told we needed to book direct with the hotel for these; booked balconies, but on arrival told that we had needed to book direct with the hotel for these; otherwise, pretty much what we had anticipated, with an adults only hotel, located 30 minutes walk from the centre, so a quiet and relaxed centre. One of the AC units broke in one of the rooms, so one of our party was relocated and the hotel staff provided a bottle of wine for the inconvenience

Set back in a quite residential area.

The room was pleasant enough. The problem was that the staff were miserable. Even though I don't smoke, the receptionist rudely warned me of the conqequences of smoking, none of the restaurant staff ever smiled.

Delightful hotel in residential area
Informal and charming hotel (just out the centre in a pleasant neighbourhood) that I particularly enjoyed as it had pleasant accommodation for single guests that doesn't for a change leave you feeling bereaved or unwanted. Gorgeous common areas furnished with character, nostalgia and a touch of humour. Service and restaurant good (although I was on BB I chose to eat in each evening where there was a varied and enjoyable menu). Reception team particularly good throughout stay.

My sister and I stayed here for one night in October. It was straightforward to find. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Though we were on the side that looked out onto a roof and other properties we were only there one night. If I stayed again I would definitely ask for a pool side room. We had a good rate which included breakfast. Only downside was it was a bit further from the centre of Palma then we had hoped.
