"Excellent property close to the central train station with a tram stop at the end of the street. A bit away from the high tourist areas which was great. A couple of grocery stores <5 minutes away."

"This is a really lovely hotel in an amazing location. The lobby and rooms are both beautiful and large. The rooms are clean and beds are cozy. The one drawback from the rooms is the bathroom offers zero privacy. There's a clear window that looks right into it. So families with older brothers/sisters may not love that part about it. It's perfect, otherwise. We requested a rollaway and it was in our room upon our arrival. The breakfast buffet is honestly the best in town. It's huge and offers just about anything a person could want for breakfast. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is steps away from the main train station, which has a direct line to the airport and everything else in Berlin. It's across the street from a park, Lime bike and scooter rentals, 10 minute walk to Brandenburg Gate. 20-minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie. There's no reason to get a rental car in this town, especially if you're staying at the Steigenberger Hotel."

"Great stay. Walkable area, seemed quite safe even at night. Close to buses but a little longer walk to get to a train station and to the main attractions though very doable. Recommended."

"We had reserved a business double room, which came with a little kitchen, a bathroom with a tub and a walk-in closet. It is a wonderful set-up if you do not want to eat out every night during an extended stay. It also had a balcony (we were on the street side), which can be very pleasant in nice weather. The only caveat was that the AC did not seem to work, which would be a problem in hot weather. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay."
