"I’m most pleased with the staff at Kimball Terrace Inn. Debbie and Rhonda were amazing and so caring when I was unfortunately sick with food poisoning from a lobster pound not on the island. Debbie brought me pepto bismol and a soda after seeing that I was so ill. She was genuinely concerned about my well being. The location of Kimball Terrace Inn shouldn’t discourage anyone from staying with them since the Northeast Harbor is lovely and only minutes from Acadia National Park and 25 minutes from Bar Harbor which was a little too busy IMO. I highly recommend Kimball Terrace Inn and will stay there again when I return. "

"We drove to Acadia from Boston and did a quick hike before going to the lodge. The room was spacious, the view gorgeous, and the pool heated. "

"So let me start by saying this is very much a basic motel, but you absolutely cannot beat the price for Bar Harbor! It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the grab and go breakfast was the good stuff, and you are backed up to some nature. We were able to walk everywhere with no problem and it didn’t feel as if you were “outside” of town. If your looking for luxury, this definitely isn’t it but if you are looking for an affordable spot with clean bed and clean shower in a quiet spot… you found it. I would definitely stay here again. For Bar Harbor this is a great deal"
