"The room was great once we got there but definitely wouldn’t have been happy to pay extra for the upgrade if that was it. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival so we went up to get our massage that we had rebooked during the week while we waited only to find that they hadn’t booked it so we had to wait 3 hours to get another appointment. The staff at the pool where rarely there so we were only able to enjoy 3 cocktails in the 3 hours we were there"
"Great Hotel, we had no of the newly refurbished rooms and it was lovely, beds super comfy. Approx. 15 min walk to the Viaduct, restaurant area or a $10 Uber ride. "
"We were upgraded to a suite which was great. So much room. While some of the common spaces are starting to show their age the room was great and fairly modern. "
"Parking was easy and safe, we found the place without a problem. There was a great dumpling house and tea shop down the road so dinner was sorted!
We got their late and the owner had contacted us so we knew where the key was etc but we didn’t have the wifi password, and when we rang we didn’t get an answer. The next day we also had to leave early and despite ringing the bell couldn’t speak to anyone then either.
The place overall was lovely, clean and safe which are main priorities but a key drop box or wifi password would’ve have just sealed the deal.
We would probably stay again if we knew we were coming during reception hours."
"The room was clean and amenities were fine. The towels weren’t really clean and there were stains on some of them. It was cool that there was Netflix on the TV. I was expecting a bit more for the price that I paid. Overall it was an average experience. "
"This is fine if you’re a college student on a major budget and don’t care about really dusty and musty rooms.
The smell in the room was horrible.
The bed was comfortable and ok but I didn’t feel safe at all (just a tiny rusty lock with a key that didn’t even work) to lock the latch on the sliding door. TV doesn’t work. No towels provided. Glad I only spent a quick night there. "
