"We stayed in the room with two double beds. It’s at the top of the hotel so the view was good. Bathroom is surprisingly spacious and fancy! We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on that but plenty of pubs in walking distance."

"The hotel is in a lovely building, retaining original features with the café area displaying some original items such as the cash register from 1882. The room key is also a traditional type which I liked. The room had a lovely original fireplace and very comfy bed. The pillows were so comfy I checked the label so I could get some for home. The breakfast was great, all good quality ingredients and well cooked. The scrambled egg was especially delicious! The hotel has parking spaces available at the top of the hill next to the hotel. Note the hill is quite steep and may not be walkable for people who are less mobile, however there is also parking on the main street. The hotel is in the middle of the main street and easily walkable to the main attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. "
