"This hotel does not live up to the Intercontinental name. The hotel needs major room renovations. The lobby area and restaurant areas are nice but the rooms are so outdated. The 1st room we checked in had a musty smell and the carpets were stained. Asked for a room change, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The 2nd room was a bit better but the same issue with the old carpet. We had club access which gave us separate breakfast area, tea time and pre-dinner food and drinks. The Seabeach pool on 19th floor is very nice but even with Club Access we were told that the amenities were not included and it was an extra charge. Overall not a bad stay. Location is perfect. The staff made sure we were taken care of, and they worked very hard with a smile 😊"

"The location first of all was perfect!. The view we had from one of the front rooms looking out to the marine was breathtaking every day. Having access to the swimming pool across the road was a huge bonus too. The dining room staff were particularly friendly. I would recommend this hotel to be a perfect base for your Malta holiday."

"We had a wonderful stay at Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa! The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Malta and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely clean hotel. Room was lovely. Some areas eg around the pool and beach club require some updating. Staff very helpful especially Christina and Emilia in the executive lounge who couldn’t do enough to help. Even suggested great places for us to visit and helped with directions too. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Not disturbed by noise from nearby Paceville at all."

"This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful."
