ApartHotel La Provincia, Medellin

This is a lovely facility, and I thought the apartment, service, and cleanliness were perfect. BUT... it is located in a residential district with absolutely nothing to do nearby. You have to take a taxi several miles just to find any restaurants at all, not to mention nightlife, entertainment, etc. It was just a major bummer, to tell you the truth. Likewise, I found the staff to be remarkably unpleasant people (except the room maids who were excellent!). Everybody says how "friendly" Medellin is---very true, EXCEPT at this place. I'd NEVER stay there again, and would never recommend it.
