"Alishan is an amazing area. The hotel was very, very nice. It was great that breakfast and dinner were provided since there are not a lot of choices within the recreation area itself. The hotel had walking trails directly across from it and views from the rooftop decks. They offered reservations, transportation, and wake up calls for us to take the Sunrise Train. Appreciate all of that."

"The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean. Strange bathroom where the bathroom door doubled as the shower door. It was okay for us as a couple; however, if you were with a friend you would need to coordinate your privacy. Breakfast was good and we were very happy to have it available. Note that we stayed one night and accidentally left behind an electrical adapter. when we return 2 days later, the adapter was already attached to the luggage that the hotel stored for us. We thought that was very efficient and kind of the staff to do. Thank You!"

"I was quite happy with the stay. The room had a slightly damp smell but it was clean. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. However, my major complaint was that I wrote to the hotel after my husband realized that he had left an eye mask at the hotel, and there was NO reply from the hotel at all. It's ok that they couldn't find the eye mask, but they should at least give some response. This is disappointing. "

"The property itself is great. Building is almost weirdly pristine. The area is somewhat inconvenient. Jiayi is a rural town in the end and there is a distinct lack of sidewalks. Combined with the frantic scooter traffic and walking around with luggage can feel sketchy. "
