"The location of this hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the views of the lake are stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself can definitely use a few upgrades For 1 the Air conditioner is pretty terrible. It’s pretty much a fan, the room gets pretty warm during the day. At night it’s not terrible but the AC can use an upgrade for sure. Also the furniture and carpets/rugs need to be changed or cleaned thoroughly. Plenty of stains on the carpet and couches. There was an issue with our first room (a bad smell) and they changed and upgraded the room without question. They were also happy to store our bicycles while we were there. "

"My wife and I would like to thank all the staff for their outstanding services during our 5 days stay. We are not expecting a lot from this hotel, but I was amazed! The cleanliness of the room, bathroom, eating areas and the reception were absolutely spotless. There were also bits and pieces of essentials available by the counter in which we find very useful. The breakfast was more than enough to fill your day. The location was excellent! Just about 5 minutes walk from the train station of Como San Giovanni. And of course, we would like to commend the young lady from reception named Virginia who's very attentive and approachable for every things we need. This hotel is lucky to have Virginia on the front desk! So, calling all travellers who are planning to visit Como, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Go for it. The price is absolutely reasonable! By the way, kudos to the free bedroom slippers, we love it. Thank you Team Ɓ&B! Hope to see you again."

"Really good location as it’s a 5 min walk from the train station also very close to the ferry. The room is on the smaller side but that’s expected in Varenna. The gentlemen at the reception was very helpful and they were able to accommodate for late check-in. I would recommend this spot and for the location and the value."
