"Beautiful room and excellent restaurant"

"A very nice little town and helpful staff"

"Had the pleasure to spend one night here. Great stay. Very recommended if you’re looking forward to relaxing surrounded by nature. In-room jacuzzi and sauna were awesome!"

"The hotel and the surrounding countryside is lovely. The room was very comfortable with great views. The hotel manager was extremely kind and very helpful. He helped me out of a self inflicted mishap."

"Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña."

"el wifi es un desastre, no hay nevera en la habitacion, el aire acond lo manejan desde la recepcion, malisimo hotel"

"Very nice place but no aircondition in the suite we stayed in"

"Far away and too expensive for a one star hotel. Two night, two breakfast and one dinner more than $500 at that price is difficult to come back"

"Der Pool auf den ich mich gefreut hatte war leider ohne Wasserinhalt und in nicht so gutem Zustand, Schade. wegen dem Pool hatte ich das Hotel gebucht. Das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage, war recht warm. Kein Kühlschrank, kein Ventilator, kein Kaffee-/Wasserkocher"

"Really nice small guesthouse. Very friendly owners and excellent views into the valley. "

"Hotel was beautiful. Lovely dog friendly room rather apartment, very modern. Service was excellent, lovely friendly reception staff."

"Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained. I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. When we arrived, it was apparent there was an organised camp of maybe 100 teenagers including a stage, amplifiers, loud music and cheering etc. While this caused us no distress during the daytime,...

"La piscina cierra a las 18:30 y cuesta 10 euros por persona"

"All was good. Each room is unique. Owner very nice and helpful. Would recommend"

"cozy hotel on the country side. Loved the secluded area. Need a car. Didnt try the breakfast. Parking is free. Good value for the money "

"Solo puedo escribir cosas buenas, en especial destacamos a la propietaria, super atenta y super amable! Ha sido una estancia corta pero repetiremos seguro más días. El lugar es ideal para desconectar o mejor aún, para conectar con la naturaleza. Destaco también la comida y sus opciones veganas y vegetarianas. Sin olvidarnos de la perrita, un amor."

"There was no reception and it took a while to get into the room."
