"We were wowed by the beauty of the mansion on arrival. Pleasantly surprised to be upgraded and enjoyed the extra big room immensely. There was fresh fruit waiting for us in the room which was topped up the next day. On the 2 mornings we were unable to enjoy breakfast at the hotel, we were given a picnic box to go. The hotel is centrally located and near bars and restaurants so walkable to all the must see sites. Overall a wonderful experience"

"The building is old, and lack of maintenance. The first room assigned to me had mold, walls very duty, and the smell of humidity was very strong. I asked for another room and the smelly feet odor was penetrated. The bathrooms had a smell of draining water and the temperature was very hot making it hard to breathe. The sheets were not clean. I found another room in a hotel for the same price and it was excellent."

"I loved the unique feeling of being in a house and not a hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the sink in the bathroom leaked and the floor would sometimes be wet. Other then that we loved it. "

"This is a historic building that is being maintained at a high level. The only thing to comment on is the low quality of towels being used and sometimes the inconsistency of cleaning staff to supply the appropriate number of towels. Even though, I would stay here again. "
