"We absolutely fell in love with this place! Bungalows were impeccably clean, small but space effective. With three kids we appreciated having two bathrooms. Lovely surroundings with tall shady trees and flowery bushes. Great breakfast, we opted to add breakfast when booking. It is not a buffet but you can order anything and everything off the menu. "The apartment was impeccable and could not be faulted. The amenities were stocked well and were thoughtful. The location was very close to the action the town has to offer, but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. Best shower, bed and pillow I have ever had away from home. Podstine Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had an amazing stay at the Podstine in July. The hotel is beauty, tucked away on the coast just a 20 minute walk from Hvar Town. The real gem of the hotel is the private beach, sunbeds and swimming area. The hotel staff are very attentive, helpful, and lovely to chat to at breakfast, at the beach bar and at check-in. Maya was lovely to speak with and while I waited for drinks at the bar! The dive centre next door was a big bonus too, as my partner was able to dive without having to get a taxi or a walk a long distance. The breakfast was quite simple in terms of options, but was fine for us. We stayed in an “economy” room. It was quite limited in terms of space, but again, that didn’t bother us! It may just be a problem for couples travelling with lots of luggage. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but the menu looked good. The drinks menu at the beach bar had a wide range and was reasonably priced compared to Hvar town. I would recommend the Podstine to anyone. We would definitely like to return one day!
