"A beautiful hotel with historic features. We stayed in the house which is quiet and we had a view of the fields. The swimming is very clean and the jacuzzi was relaxing we had the whole pool to ourselves, it has a small sauna and steam room which needs to be warmer. The Reception had a beautiful Christmas tree and the bar area is relaxing with a lovely sitting room. The staff work hard and make you feel welcome. The room was spacious with sash windows, no snacks provided like the other group hotels we have visited. The floor boards in the room need fixing but it’s an old building. We visited Millets farm to see the Christmas lights, would recommend. Abingdon is a nice town with a mix of independent shops and top high street brands. This is our second visit and we would return. Who doesn’t love the Cotswolds ❤️"

"The Dog House is our ‘go to’ place for a get together, we’re a group of 5 bikers, living miles apart from each other and the Dog House is central for all of us. Another great stay last night, friendly staff, great drink choices and a lovely menu/food. A great breakfast too. Thanks again, all "
