Hot tub, the main reason for us staying in a hotel with a pool and hot tub, was not working so that was disappointing. Room was clean but you can tell is aging. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Front desk clerk at checkout was very friendly.

The staff were very nice! The room was needed some work. The bathroom door would not stay shut. There is chiping paint in the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable and sunk in the middle. The water in the hot tub was luke warm and the restroom door in the pool area would not lock.

Desk person who was there when we first arrived wasn't very pleasant. We were offered early check in and took it for $25.00, but it really wasn't an option. We did not get confirmation on it, so it didn't happen,

Check in was easy and staff are nice. However, this hotel needs A LOT of updating. Door frames are rusted, paint is chipped or not finished, the tub was patched and the toilet was missing a cap. In addition, I went to use the provided hair conditioner and it was half empty! Are they reusing the products???

For location it was a good option to be on the south side or outskirts of the Twin Cities. Staff contact was minimal with pre-check in completed on my phone. The room was dated and bathroom was small. The bathroom needs some work as the toilet paper roll holder was falling out of the wall.and you could see where there was water damage along the side of the shower that had been patched and the vent above the shower was rusty.The room was clean though. I didn't use the pool/hot tub area. The continental breakfast offered good food options.

Dark and run down is the general vibe at The Baymont. From tvs and keycards not working to gross scratchy, pilled sheets and the lumpiest pillows you’ve ever had the pleasure to rest your head on, this place has it all. And how can I forget the stained, broken pack n play that smelled so bad I couldn’t breathe. But! For as old as it was, it was clean. The breakfast was pretty edible and the staff seemed helpful. It was good enough for the two nights we stayed.
